Phi Theta Kappa members are attractive candidates for many scholarships from prestigious universities around the United States. A great many scholarships are specifically designated for Phi Theta Kappa members, and members are included in Phi Theta Kappa’s transfer database, given to recruiters at senior institutions.
Soon after joining, a membership certificate, an identification card and a membership pin are mailed to new members directly from the organization’s headquarters. Phi Theta Kappans receive informative publications, are automatically included on the National Dean’s List, and have the privilege of wearing the society’s stole and tassel at graduation.

We realize that students have many other responsibilities to fulfill; nevertheless, we welcome them to participate at whatever level they can. We encourage all members and prospective members to meet with us and to participate in activities that promote our chapter’s goals. While member meetings are usually scheduled twice a month, two informative orientation meetings for new members and an induction ceremony are scheduled around the middle of each semester.
If you meet these qualifications, we hope that you will consider membership in the Alpha Delta Pi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society – a likely way to enhance your prospects for academic and social success.
