Attention First-time-at-Brookhaven College Students!

Learn what you need to know!

Orientation is required of students who are new to Brookhaven College before they can register for classes.

Visit Room S062, eConnect online Registration Center, near the Welcome Center in the Student Services Center, Building S.

Please allow at least 90 minutes for the orientation.

Here’s how it works: You will see a 25-minute PowerPoint presentation about degree plans, course choices, schedules, work load, financial aid and other general information.

When you have finished viewing the presentation, an orientation staff member will evaluate your status to determine if you need to assess for placement. If so, you will be given a sample packet as well as a verbal explanation of what the assessment covers, how long it is, how to schedule for the assessment and its importance to your ability to register for classes at Brookhaven College.

All students will also be given general information packets containing helpful student support services and programs available to you. This is the time to ask any questions you have regarding what to do next, where to go, what help is available on campus, and any other general information you need to get started. We have answers ranging from parking to financial aid.

Come back any time! An orientation staff member is someone you can return to at any time for direction and information.

For more information, contact Laurey Lynch, Orientation coordinator, in Room S062, or at 972-860-4359.
