The Brookhaven College Advising & Counseling Center provides a variety of services to current and new students. The center is staffed by a team of professional academic advisors who are available to meet with students on a walk-in basis throughout the year. Stressed out? Test anxiety? Not enough time for all the things you do? Relationship issues? Difficulties balancing school and work? Too blue to study? Appointments may be made in the Advising/Counseling Center in S-Building.
Individuals who would like to have the support group are welcome to talk with a counselor about getting one started.
Referrals are available for students who need assistance connecting with services in the community. Resources for finding a local AA meeting, a women's shelter, services for the hearing impaired and many other social services are easily accessible from the counselors.
