Brookhaven College School of the Arts’ Music Department provides students with career training in performance, theory and composition. The program offers courses that lead to an Associate in Arts/Sciences degree or transfer to a senior institution.

Music Department course offerings include: private music instruction, performing ensembles, keyboard, theory, ear training, digital music, music literature and music appreciation.

The Music Department is a part of the Brookhaven College School of the Arts, the major training and performance venue for all students who are involved in the many performing ensembles of the college. The School of the Arts presents nationally-known musical performing artists in concert, and provides workshops for students and the surrounding communities of Farmers Branch, Carrollton and Addison. These events, combined with a weekly recital series of local professionals, provide students with many listening and performing opportunities. See our 2008-2009 Season Calendar for full details.
